- Advance the Lead: Click the cap to index the lead out as you need it.
- Shape if Needed: Rub the tip against concrete, lumber, or other rough surfaces to get a fine point.
- Start Marking: Write on wood, metal, concrete, or ceramic, no sharpening required.
