How to Use This Thing
🔌 Powering On
  • Flip your wall switch ON to fire it up.
  • Motion sensor kicks in automatically if enabled and wall switch left ON.
  • OFF at your wall switch powers it down.

🔧 Install the Hub
  • Ensure wall switch is OFF.
  • Screw the MPI Hub into your existing light socket.

📦 Mounting the Pods
  • Plug in all 4 Pod lights to the Main Hub using their built-in retractable wiring.
  • Plug Pod cables into the ROUND ports (don’t accidentally plug into the USB port).
  • Let Pods hang while you reposition the ladder to a desired pod location.
  • Position the first Pod where you want light.
  • Unscrew the Pod’s ceiling plate and use it to mark holes on the ceiling.
  • If attaching to drywall: Drill 3/16" holes → insert anchors → screw plate.
  • If attaching directly to a Joist: Screw directly into wood (no anchors).
  • Attach Pod by twisting it clockwise onto plate.
  • Repeat for all 4 Pods (max 9.5 ft from hub).
  • Finally rotate the Pods to retract any loose cable creating a clean look.

🎚 Adjusting Motion Sensor
  • Twist the dial on the center of the Hub.
  • OFF: Works like a regular bulb, no motion sensing.
  • LOW → MAX: Increase sensitivity to trigger lights sooner.
  • Timer keeps lights on for ~2 min per trigger.

📷 Extra Tricks
  • 2-Hour Override: Flip switch OFF/ON four times quickly → lights stay on for 2 hrs.
  • USB Power Port: Plug in a security cam (not included). Switch must stay ON for constant power.

💡 Pro Tip
  • Mount Pods near your work zones (bench, tool chest, car bay), the more coverage, the fewer shadows survive.

Put Five Lights in Your Garage →

See MPI in Action

One socket becomes five points of light. See how the complete system installs and works together.

See the Difference

Same garage. One bulb versus five points of light. Drag the slider.

From One Hotspot to Whole-Room Coverage

MPI moves the light out of the middle and puts it where the work happens.
Regular light bulb in garage

Single Bulb
MPI
Five points of light reveal more of the room with fewer hard shadows.

Here’s How Five Lights Come Out of One Socket.

Out Goes the Bulb. In Goes the Hub.

Use the E26/E27 lamp holder already in the ceiling. No new fixture. No electrician.

Move the Light Out of the Middle

Place the four pods around the room so corners, benches, and work areas are not stuck behind one overhead shadow.

No Cords Hanging in Your Face.

Mount the plate, twist the pod on, then keep turning. Click, click, click, and the cable ratchets up tight against the ceiling. No loops swinging over the workbench, nothing to snag the top of your ladder. A single ceiling bulb never has to solve that. We did, because we’re the ones working under it.

Got Questions? Let’s Kill the Doubt.

The answers that matter before you put five lights on one socket.

Will it fit my existing ceiling socket?

MPI screws into a standard E26/E27 lamp holder and accepts 100–240V input. It is built for indoor, dry locations.

How much light does it produce?

7,500 true lumens total: 2,500 from the hub and 1,250 from each of the four pods.

How far can the pods reach?

Each retractable pod cable reaches up to 9.5 feet from the center hub.

How does the motion sensor work?

The integrated 360° sensor has adjustable sensitivity, detects motion up to a 20-foot radius at ceiling height, and keeps the lights on for about two minutes per trigger.

Can I use it like a normal switched light?

Yes. Turn the sensor dial to OFF for normal wall-switch control. A quick four-toggle sequence also activates the two-hour always-on override.

Can the USB port power a security camera?

It provides 5V, 1.2A for a compatible camera. The camera is not included, and the wall switch must remain ON for continuous power.

Is there a warranty?

MPI includes a 3-year manufacturer warranty. Need help? See the warranty policy.
